Bath Time
Garrison really loves the head massages. He got one in the hospital and would move his head all around under the water while she massaged it. He truly belongs in this family. He doesn't really care for baths to much. So glad that he gets on tonight!
Grandmas Birthday Video
I recorded this while we sang to her. Dallin thought I was going to take a picture and kept telling me to take it. So in between sentences he would say "take the picture" and I would just laugh because I was doing a video. Oh and the candles melted into one gigantic candle so that is why the flame is so huge. Well it was taking to long to download. So just use your imagination =)
Happy Birthday Grandma
My mom came up to take care of us after the baby was born. She made it up about two hours before I delivered Garrison and cheered me on. It was actually really funny to watch her. We had a great time during the delivery. Her birthday was on Monday so here are some pictures and video from that. These are all of her presents. Garrison is one of them=)
I loved having her up here. I didn't get much sleep because I just wanted to spend as much time as I could with her. That made her feel kinda bad, but it meant so much to me to have her here that I had to cherish the time that I had. I love you momma!!!
More Baby Garrison
My mom looks so amazing in this picture. This could totally be her kid, she looks so young. I am pretty sure I have seen a picture like this when she had Mickey. I hope I age as well as her.
He is such a relaxed person.
This picture above of Garrison is so funny. My moms finger is behind his head, but it totally looks like his ear. His left ear does fold a little because we think that that was the side he was always laying on. Its a hilarious picture of him. I think he looks like Richard G. Scott because his ears point out too!
I ran out of time yesterday, but while my mom was here we took plenty of pictures. So here are some more.

Garrison is Here!!!
Garrison came Thursday at 1:31 pm. He weighed 6lbs 14 oz. and was 18 1/2 inches long. He is so cute and Dallin, Grandma and I just can't get enough of him.
Here is his story~
I went for a walk the night before ready to get things going. I walked with Cara and Amber around Porter park then Amber and I walked Cara home and then proceeded to walk back to Ambers house. It was a dark walk back home. We were both kind of nervous, but we made it back to her house safely and I remember have some strong contractions, but I was told that if I was able to talk through them, then I wasn't really in labor. Dallin and I went home and I called my mom to ask her what she thought about my contractions. She said if they got any worse to call her and she would start driving up. Dallin and I went to bed, but I never really fell asleep and I dont think Dallin was able to sleep either. I was squeezing his arm and grabbing his arm and probably kicking him. Around 1 or so in the morning Dallin finally said well if we aren't going to get any sleep we might as well go to the hospital.
We got to the hospital and they said that I wasn't yet 100% effaced and that I was still only dialated to a 3 and if I wasn't going to be completely effaced then we should go home. Well my contractions were really hurting and so there was no way I was going home. They told us to walk around for about an hour to see if my contractions stop coupling and once they were 1 min apart to come back. So I was admitted 1 hour later, I asked if I could use the hot tub and was only in that for about 10 mins before I couldnt handle the heat anymore. That dialated me 2 more centimeters.
The doctor came in and broke my water this was about 5 a.m. Then I received an epidural and pitocin. Then I dilated about 1 cm every hour and it was a relaxing 5 or 6 hours before I was ready to start pushing. We called my mom around 5 a.m. and she headed up. She made it about an hour before I was told to start pushing. I pushed for about a half an hour and he was born at 1:31 pm. It was crazy how it felt like it happened so fast. He didn't cry much and he was a great eater. It took us a little bit before we really understood that our lives were changed forever. He is such an amazing blessing and I love this little boy so much! I am grateful we were blessed with such a beautiful wonderful little boy!

Monday Monday
If you were singing a song in your head as you read that title, then that is how I wanted it read. IF not then it just may not make any sense. =) So I went to the doctor this morning and nothing really new. Other than I dilated to a 2.8, almost a 3. It was a very painful experience to be a 3. So anyways I should have some pictures of our new place up soon, since I finally bought batteries for our camera and Dallin fixed my computer. Things are finally starting to come together. We are just patiently waiting for Garrison to arrive. Seems like these last few weeks are longer than the whole pregnancy. Anyways patience is a virture....right?

Garrison Update
So I haven't had the baby yet, but I thought that I would update everyone on what was going on. I went into the doctor on Tuesday for my 37 week check up and they weren't going to check me but I asked him to because I felt like I was dialated, or maybe i just hoped taht I was. Well he checked me and I was dialated to a 2 and was 60% effaced. He also swept my membranes. So I came into work the next day and told eveyone about my doctors appointment and they were like Katie you are going to go into labor soon, like anywhere from 12-48 hrs. I was like WHAT?!?!?!?!!?!? Just freaking out. So I started to feel that my stomach was getting hard more often but nothing hurt or anything like that. So I called the doctor and said, " Um I dont' know what is happening everyone is telling me I should be having the baby soon what should I do?" He just told me basically to go into the hospital when I was in lots of pain. Ok So nothing happened. I went into his office the next day because he wanted to check me again. I was dialated to a 2.6 and 80% effaced and he swept my membranes again. This time I was having contractions about every 3 minutes and I could really feel them. But since then everything has cooled down and now I get them every so often and I can't really feel them anymore. I think Garrison decided he wasn't ready. So my next appointment is on Monday and we will see how far I have come then. Anyways just wanted tp update everyone on what was going on!!
